Common questions from importers
What is the minimum order?
From one 40′ HC container. Mixed-species loads are possible depending on the species, producer, sizes and availability — talk to us and we'll structure the best fit for your project.
Which Incoterms and ports do you work with?
We work primarily on FOB, with CFR and CIF available on request. We ship to ports worldwide, coordinating freight and documentation through to delivery.
How is the timber graded and dried?
FAS (First and Seconds) export grade, air-dried or kiln-dried to 12–16% moisture content — supplied install-ready. Pine is offered in structural & utility grades.
What are typical lead times?
Around 6–10 weeks after order confirmation. This can vary with species, volume, documentation, origin and logistics — we plan each shipment around your schedule.
Can I request samples?
Yes — for qualified opportunities we can send samples by courier, with cost assessed case by case.
What are the payment terms?
Negotiated case by case. For new clients, terms are typically a down payment plus balance against shipping documents. Letters of credit can be evaluated.
What documentation do you provide?
Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and the applicable certificates — FSC when applicable and CITES when required — plus inspection photos and Chain-of-Custody records, organised per shipment.
